CHALLENGE

TRIBECA APPROACHED JUNIPER JONES LOOKING FOR BOTH STRATEGY AND CONTENT FOR THEIR FILM FESTIVAL PRE-SHOW, SOMETHING THEY'D NEVER DONE BEFORE.

SOLUTION

WE BUILT OFF OF TRIBECA'S NAME RECOGNITION AS NEW YORK'S PREEMINENT FILM FESTIVAL AND THE WONDERMENT SURROUNDING THE CINEMA GOING EXPERIENCE TO CRAFT A MAGICAL JOURNEY THAT EXPLORES THE POWER OF FILM.

2013

CHALLENGE

PLAYING OFF THE BRANDING FROM THE 2012 PRE-SHOW - CREATE A MORE TANGIBLE STORY AROUND THE TRIBECA LOGO.

SOLUTION

TRIBECA IS NYC'S PREEMINENT FILM FESTIVAL, SO WHAT BETTER PLACE TO SHOOT THE LOGO THAN AROUND TOWN. WE ADDED A SIGNATURE GRITTY LOOK THAT EVOKES THE CHARACTER OF THE CITY WE LOVE.

2014

CHALLENGE

CREATE OVER TWENTY MINUTES OF PRE SHOW CONTENT THAT BALANCES AUDIENCE ENGAGEMENT WITHOUT OVERPOWERING THE ROOM.

SOLUTION

EVOLVING THE DESIGN LANGUAGE WE ESTABLISHED IN 2012, WE REBOOTED THE TRIBECA BRAND WITH COLORFUL TYPE DESIGN, KINETIC ANIMATION, MUSIC AND SOUND DESIGN, TELLING MINIMALIST STORIES AND SETTING JUST THE RIGHT MOOD FOR THE MAIN ATTRACTION.
